The first Vietnamese Fruit Festival was organized in My Tho City, Tien Giang Province from 19th to 24th April 2010. This is a good chance to introduce the Vietnamese fruit potentialities as well as to boost the image of the local fruit industry to both local and foreign consumers. Saigon Nerwport Corporation (SNP) was one of the sponsors for the event and also had its exhibition stall at the Festival. With more than 700 stalls, the event has been displaying variety of fresh and processed fruit, the agricultural products and plant exhibitions, agricultural achievements..
Many products displayed at the Festival are those exported through Tan Cang -Cat Lai terminal of SNP. Hundreds of thousands guests have been to the event. A lot of visitors who is now exporting the fruit by the Air way have come to SNP’s exhibition stall to get more information about the export of fruit in reefer containers through the terminal. This was also an opportunities for the Marketing executives of SNP and Tan Cang Logistics (SNP’s subsidiary) to meet and exchange information with its valuable customers like Tien Giang import- export companies, the chemical and fertilizer companies, the dragon- fly export companies of Binh Thuan Province.....
