TAN CANG LOGISTICS COMPANY RECEIVED THE AWARD OF VIETNAM GOLD STAR 2010 (28/09/2010)

On September 2nd 2010, the celebration of awarding “ Vietnam Gold Star 2010” – the most prestigious and desired award for the entrepreneurs was held in Hoa Binh Theatre, Ho Chi Minh city. The most typical companies selected for TOP 10, 100 and 200 Vietnam Gold Star 2010 were honored at the ceremony.

Present at the event were Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong; Ho Duc Viet, Party Politburo members and Secretaries of the Party Central Committee; and Mr. To Huy Rua, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Information and Education Commission and the other central and local Leaders, Leaders of the Youth Unions and Association of Vietnam’s Young Entrepreneurs as well as the representatives from the Ministries, Departments and media. The celebration was broadcast lively on VTV 3, Vietnam’s Television. This is one of the most important activities of the Association of Vietnam’s Young Entrepreneurs to celebrate 65th Anniversary of the Independence Day September 2nd and 1000th Anniversary of Thang Long- Ha Noi establishment.

200 most typical prominent companies selected among hundreds of the candidates from 56 Provinces and cities of Vietnam were awarded at the celebration. Tan Cang Logistics and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (Tan Cang Logistics – TCL) was honoured to be one of the TOP 100 Golden Star Award winners. In the past years, TCL has kept a stable growth, high turnover and profits and TCL has enlarged its investment in term of the door to door multi-modal transportation. The TCL’s service quality is increasingly improved and higly appreciated by the service users. TCL has been listed in the stock market of Ho Chi Minh city since December 2009 and now it is one of the promising stocks for the investors.

In the speech delivered at the celebration. Colonel Nguyen Van Uan- Chairman of management board, director of TCL expressed his gratitude to the Management and departments of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) as well as the relating bodies for their support and assistance to TCL in achieving the target. Mr. Uan emphasized that the good responsibilities, diligence, commitment and professinality of the TCL’s staffs and management in building a strong and stable Brand of Tan Cang- Logistics . He affirmed that TCL will make its best effort in making the further progress to be worth with the noble award.
