On March 30, 2012, Tan Cang – Mien Trung Terminal JSC (TCMT), a member of Saigon Newport Corportation (SNP) solemnly celebrated “The Customers’ Meeting 2012 of Central Region” at Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.

On 10 January, 2012, TCIT celebrated the Customer Conference in Park Hyatt Hotel. The conference has attracted over 300 clients includings those representatives from Shipping Lines, Saigon New Port and its subsidiaries, ICD, domestic transportation and marine suppliers. Attending the conference there were also , Chairman of BRVT Committee, Vice Secrectary of BRVT Committee and representatives from other Department of Provincial People's Committee….

2011 was a difficult and challenging year for maritime activites in general and sea port opeartion in particular. As the result of our coninuous effort in improving service quality and to meeting the need of customers, Saigon Newport (SNP) has received tremedous support from partners and customers to evercome those difficulties and challenges.

On 21st Nov, 2011, Tan Cang Logistics official opened Representative Office at The North Vietnam. The cerenomy was held by Mr. Do Thanh Truong – Deputy Director of TCL and attracted TCL’staffs, the representative of Shipping agents and Forwarder agents. The office is at Suite 502, TTC Building, 630 Le Thanh Tong, Hai An District, Hai Phong City.

After two months of installation, two new cranes named Kocks were finished as plan. The inspections of quality and safety have been conducted according to the international standards. After completing the handover procedure, Tan Cang Logistics has officially taken into operating two new cranes, specific on 21st Nov (Kocks 1 at B6); and on 28th Nov (Kocks 2 at B7).

In November 22, 2011 Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd (TCIT) broke the record of net productivity at 133,69 moves/hour when handling the MOL PARTNER V.064B. With this new record, TCIT has proved our operational efficiency within 11 months of starting operation.
