On 16 September 2010, the opening ceremony of Cat Lai Logistics Joint Stock Company has been held at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal, a subsidiary of Tan Cang Warehousing Joint Stock Company. Attending the ceremony were all its employees, and representatives from SNP’s functional departments and relevant parties.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Xuan Hong, Chairman of the Board of Management cum Director of Cat Lai Logistics Joint Stock Company mentioned the achievements of Tan Cang Warehousing Joint Stock Company and expressed his pleasure at with the opening of Cat Lai Logistics Joint Stock Company.
On behalf of Cat Lai Logistics Joint Stock Company, Mr. Hong also thanked the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of SNP and of Tan Cang Warehousing Joint Stock Company for their directions and assistance for the establishment and development of his company, along with great support from customs offices, stevedoring companies and valuable customers.
Mr. Hong said, today Cat Lai Logistics Joint Stock Company officially comes into operation as an independent legal entity in a new field of operation, which might bring about lots of difficulties and challenges for the board of management and staff. But with the spirit of hard working and high sense of solidarity, Cat Lai Logistics Joint Stock Company will endeavor to keep its development pathway on the right track and see more efficient business performance. The company wishes to receive more support and assistance from Saigon Newport Corporation, Tan Cang Warehousing Joint Stock Company, relevant governmental departments and customers for sustainable development in the future. The ceremony ended at 19:00 hrs LT on the same day.
