The Container Yard for the empty storage of 28 hectares, modern handling equipment, skillful and professional workforce, preferential and flexible price policy, the advanced management software system and trucking team ready to serve all the requirements of the customers have made Tan Cang- Long Binh Investment and Service Development Enterprise to be the choice for a lot of shipping lines/ agents and customers.

In the initial time of operation, with the purpose of attracting the customers to lease and use the added services, Long Binh ICD has applied a flexible policy to meet the demands of the warehouse leasees in term of the leased areas or leasing methods. We are now enforcing the Logistics services aiming at providing customers with the door to door service ( from manufacturing to the consuming of the products). It is also the target for the development of Long Binh ICD in the future to become the modern model of the Logistic Center in the Area.

From May 24th to May 25th, the Tan cang- Song Than ICD Company Ltd organized the training course for the internal judgment for the officers and staff of the company. The course provided the trainees with the updated information and knowledge relating to the ISO Standard 9001-2001 as well as the skills for the internal evaluation so as to enhance the effectiveness of operating the Quality Management System as per the ISO Standard 9001-2001.

In May 2010, TCL continues its projects with the relating bodies. The Sunimex project- TCL together with Ben Thanh JS Company and Thu Thiem Investment JS Company have completed the business plans and essential procedures for the establishment of Tan Cang- Ben Thanh Company.

In May, TCCT handled 13 mother vessels with the total throughput of 24, 758 Teus. The port stay time has been reduced- only 17.5 hours/ vessel. Net productivity reached 78.1 cont/vh. Especially, the Maximum net and port-stay productivity was 92.3 cont/vh and 80.1cont/vh respectively (those reached with Vessel MOL SOLUTION - voyage 107W/108E.

In April 2010, TTCT received 12 voyages of Mitsui O.S.K Lines, Hanjin  Shipping and Grand Alliance and 18 voyages of the transshipment barges (from Cambodia) of Samtra, Hai minh and Germadept

On 23rd April 2010, the vessel Sabalan of HDS Lines  with the LOA of 294m,which was launched in 2008,  successfully made its testing call at TCCT

Tan Cang-Cai Mep container Terminal(TCCT) is the first deep sea container terminal in Vietnam and it can  accommodate big mother vessel up to 110,000 DWT. TCCT has operated from June 3rd 2009, up to the present time, more than 11 shipping lines have their containers received and delivered at TCCT. The big shipping Alliance like The New World Alliance (MOL,APL,HMM), CYKH (Cosco, K’line, Yangming, Hanjin) and Grand Alliance (OOCL, NYK, HapagLloyd) have deployed the  services directly from TCCT to West, East Coast in USA. There are 3 vessels calling per week  at TCCT and  some more  shipping lines have the plan to deploy their services from TCCT to USA and  Europe  in Q2 & Q3.2010.
 

Upon the completion of the construction, Long Binh shall have totally 15 warehouses including bonded warehouse, general warehouse, reefer warehouse, CFS, distribution warehouse.  Each warehouse is 18,000 sqm

Tan Cang- Long Binh ICD  joint stock company has been established from December 2007. It is an operator of the inland port and a subsidiary  of Saigon Newport Corporation.
