In November 2011, 06 warehouses in Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD maintained the capacity up to 100%. The demand for bonded warehouse made up 75% in comparison to 25% of general and CFS ones. The majority of goods in bonded warehouse are coffee, cashew nuts, and indoor furniture. There was a slight increase in the number of goods in general warehouse such as : electric appliance, resins, textile materials, healthcare and home products.
Together with completing the 7th warehouse at the end of this year, the company is continuing to build a new warehouse with total area of 18,000 sqm. Beside the modern structural design, the warehouse is being equipped with high-tech facilities such as fire protection system, CCTV system, etc. In sum, after 3 years of operation, Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD is now operating 08 warehouses with total area of 144,000 sqm.
With the aim of developing logistics service in line with warehousing service, Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD has gained some remarkable developments. The revenue of logistics service increases 43.97 per cent compared to October. In the coming time, the company is continuing to expand its business in Pho Noi Industrial park in Hung Yen Province and expand its distribution services by applying multi-model transportation service.
